Bioethical issues are timely; they present exceptional interest and are in constant development. This study presents the ethical considerations and the current dialogue taking place around the most important issues of them, such as abortion, euthanasia, assisted reproduction, cloning, and organ transplantation.
Particular emphasis is given to the Roman Catholic Church's positions based on the corresponding Christian Orthodox positions, as these were put forward by the Bioethics Committee of the Church of Greece in the last few years.
