Dimitris Germides
Dimitris Germides was professor of Economics in the Universities of Paris, Nice and Lille, visitor professor in university institutions of France, Greece, the U.S. of A., Mexico and Africa, as well as researcher in the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) of France. He was high-rank official for years in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and consultant to many international organizations, governments, multinational companies and banks in Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America.
He was also Governor of the National Bank of Greece, president of the Greek Banks Association and Vice-president of the European Banks Federation and ambassador of Greece to the OECD.
Parallel to his scientific work, twenty-one books and numerous articles in Greek, French, English and Spanish, Dimitris Germides has turned to fiction writing.
