Dr. Zoe Kotitsa
She was born and raised in Thessaloniki where she also studied in the Department of History and Archaeology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, majoring in Classical Archaeology. She received her PhD in 1993 from the Institute of Classical Archaeology of the Julius-Maximilians University of Wurzburg, Germany.
She has worked as scientific collaborator at the "Byzantine Research Centre" in Thessaloniki and at the Martin von Wagner Museum of the University of Wurzburg, as employee of the 16th Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities in Thessaloniki, and as scientific consultant for an archaeological shipwreck excavation company in Asia.
Since 2005 she has been working as scientific collaborator at the Institute of Classical Archaeology in Philipps-Universitat, Marburg, Germany.
