DIMITRA KOUKOURA
She was born in Thessaloniki.
She studied at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Faculty of Philosophy (Department of Linguistics) and at the Faculty of Theology.
She continued her studies in Sorbonne (Paris I, ParisV)
and in the Catholic Institute of Paris and she received four post-graduate titles (one Maitrise and three DEA) in Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Byzantine History, Liturgics
and Patristic studies.
She holds a PhD in Theology, has worked as a teacher in secondary education
and in 1993 was appointed lecturer in the School of Theology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Today she is associate professor in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
She has written three studies regarding her teaching subject (Stylistic observations in St.Gregorios Palamas' oral texts, Rhetoric and Ecclesiastical Rhetoric) and an adequate number of articles.
