Athanasia Kyriakou

Athanasia Kyriakou studied archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she also completed her MA and PhD studies. She is also a graduate of the Tourist Guide School.

She has participated in excavation researches in Macedonia and Thrace. As member of the excavation team of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Vergina since 1990, she co-authors scientific publications and actively participates in various efforts regarding the propagation of archaeological knowledge to the broad public, including the planning and execution of educational programs within the framework of the "Thessaloniki Cultural Capital of Europe" Organization.

She lives in Thessaloniki and works at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
