MANOLIS MANOLEDAKIS
Manolis Manoledakis was born in Thessaloniki. He studied history and archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Faculty of Philosophy, and completed his postgraduate studies in Classical Archaeology. He attended classes and lectures in the Universities of Heidelberg and Berlin and in 2003 he received his PhD in Philosophy from A.U.Th.
Since 1996 he has participated in various excavations (Dion, Vergina, etc) and since 2000 he has been cooperating with University of Ioannina in the excavations in Minoa, Amorgos.
He participated in the International Conference of Greek Ceramics that took place in Kielo, Germany in 2001 with the paper "Strafendarstellungen auf archaischen attischen Vasen und ihre politische und soziale Dimension"
From 2005 to 2007 he taught Classical Archaeology in the Department of Cultural Heritage Management and New Technologies at the University of Ioannina and from 2008-2009 he taught Classical Archaeology and Ancient History in the Department of Languages, Literature and Culture of the Black Sea Countries at the Democritus University of Thrace.
In 2009 he was elected Lecturer of Classical Archaeology, in the Department of History and Archeology, at the University of Ioannina.
