STRATOS SIMITZIS
He was born in Thessaloniki
Co-owner and director of the newspaper Hellenikos Vorras. Publisher of the newspaper Hesperine Ora from 1967-1969. In 1964 he was elected Municipal Councillor. He is Member of the Macedonian Studies Association, of the Union of Press Editors and of the International Union of Journalists and of Writers on Tourism.
He has been columnist in the newspaper Hellenikos Vorras, in the magazines Epiloges, Philoxenia and Tourism and has been Press Officer Consultant to OLYMPIAKI A. S.A. and OLYMPIAKI-VICTORIA.
Today he is correspondent of the monthly financial review Asfalistiki Agora, representative of the Economiki Viomihaniki Epitheorisi (Financial Industrial Review) and free-lance associate in magazines and newspapers.
He was honoured by the Northern Greece Editors Association for his contribution to the Greek press.
